Hulu’s six-part docuseries is an expansion of the 1619 Project, created by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones and The New York Times Magazine. The series seeks to reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of Black Americans at the very center of our national narrative.

Will & Harper

Comedy legend Will Ferrell and former Saturday Night Live head writer Harper Steele have been friends since the mid-1990s. Two years ago, Steele sent an email announcing her transition. The changing dynamics of their friendship became the basis of a new Netflix documentary, Will & Harper, where they embark on a cross-country road trip—17 days of laughter, tears, and beer.
