People's March Song Circle

On Saturday, January 18, people across the nation will come together for rallies, including one in Washington D.C. For those who are unable to travel to D.C., we will host “A People’s March Healing Song Circle” at UU Meriden from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. This gathering aims to unite us in spirit and send healing energy to those marching, as well as to everyone in need of love and support during this critical time for our country and our lives. Together, we will sing songs from our Women’s Song Circle, along with classics by Pete Seeger, Holly Near, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and others. If you’d like, bring a photo of an ancestor or someone dear to you to place at the center of our circle as a symbol of solidarity. I believe someone like Jimmy Carter would perfectly embody the spirit of this moment.
