Advancing Justice

At the Unitarian Universalist Church in Meriden, we are deeply committed to the work of justice. Grounded in our principles of equity, compassion, and respect for the inherent worth and dignity of all people, we strive to create a more just and inclusive world. Advancing justice is not just a goal—it is a call to action, inspiring us to engage in efforts that challenge systemic inequities, uplift marginalized voices, and promote fairness in our community and beyond.

Through partnerships with local organizations, advocacy campaigns, and educational programs, we work to address pressing social issues such as racial and economic justice, LGBTQ+ rights, environmental sustainability, and access to education and healthcare. Our members take part in service projects, peaceful demonstrations, and legislative outreach, guided by a shared vision of love and justice for all.

We invite you to join us in this transformative work. Whether through volunteering, participating in community conversations, or supporting our initiatives, there is a place for everyone in our mission to advance justice. Together, we can create meaningful change and live out our Unitarian Universalist values in the world.
