In response to recent, intense incidents in Minnesota involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and subsequent protests, a broad coalition of local and national faith leaders has called for a National Day of Truth & Freedom on Friday, January 23, 2026. This event includes a major rally and march in Minneapolis, with clergy from across the country in attendance. 

Focus of the Prayers

The clergy are asking participants to pray for:

  • Justice and Accountability: For a thorough investigation into the actions of ICE agents.

  • Safety and Protection: Specifically for immigrant communities and the protection of houses of worship.

  • Peace: For calm in the streets of Minnesota.
