Based on feedback from members, we are bringing back “Spliters from the Board,” a short, weekly update from the Board of Trustees.
As we look ahead to the coming year, we are called to reflect on what it means to sustain and grow our spiritual home. Each year, the UUCM Board of Trustees carefully plans a budget that ensures our congregation remains a vibrant and welcoming space for all who seek connection, inspiration, and community. This work depends on all of us.
Our Annual Stewardship Campaign, also known as the Pledge Drive, is a time when we come together to commit to UUCM’s future. Unlike some religious institutions that receive external funding, our congregation is entirely self-sustaining. Everything we do—from Sunday services to social justice initiatives, from pastoral care to children’s programming—is made possible by the generosity of our members and friends.
Financial support is just one way we invest in UUCM. Our community thrives because of the many people who give their time, skills, and energy—whether by volunteering, participating in worship, serving on committees, or organizing events. Every contribution, large or small, helps build a stronger, more connected congregation.
In the weeks ahead, we ask you to consider how you can support UUCM’s mission in the coming year. Your pledge—no matter the amount—allows us to plan responsibly and ensure that our programs, staff, and facilities continue to serve our community’s needs.
We invite you to join us for our Annual Budget Meeting on April 13, where we will review and approve our financial plans for the year ahead. Your voice and participation are essential as we shape the future of UUCM together.
With gratitude for all that you do,
The UUCM Board of Trustees
