Board Meeting Highlights

The UU Meridenb Board of Trustees on Wednesday, February 26, and here are a few highlights:

• We approved payments toward the church’s upgraded security system (supported by a grant).
• Property updates include ongoing stove repairs, possible thermostat replacements, and planning for phased smoke detector replacement.
• We are preparing for the March 8 Congregational Conversation on leadership and succession — please plan to attend.

Inclement Weather Policy Adopted

The Board adopted a formal weather closure policy:

• Sunday closure decisions will be made by 8:00 a.m. 
• Decisions are made collaboratively by the minister (if involved), a Board member, and a Worship Committee representative.
• Closures and any move to online worship will be posted promptly on the website and social media.
